Series of military intelligence scandals in Lebanon "they pretended a commercial camera has a secret hiding place"

Via Flickr:
Day after day the scandals of the military intelligence in Lebanon related to fabrications of files to some Lebanese for political purposes are being exposed. Some Lebanese have been intentionally accused to collaborate with the Israelian intelligence, the Mossad, in order to exploit their cases by the Iranian party in Lebanon such as the case of the engineer Tarek RABAA who has been subjected to fabricated charges for multiple purposes such as:
1. Discrediting the Cellular Data Records used by the Special Tribunal for Lebanon in the case of Rafic al Hariri's assassination
2. To distrust the transmission network based on microwave links and to quickly approve a budget of 60 Millions USD to sign a deal for expanding the fiber optics network which has been revealed to be used by the so called "resistance".
3. To protect those who were involved in July war 2006.
4. To rule the whole telecom network and signing deals with suppliers without tenders. A scandal between the ministry of telecom and Huawei has been announced in the news in January 2013...

The case of the engineer Tarek RABAA is an example about how the military intelligence in Lebanon uses fabricated evidences in collaboration with the military court to put in jail a brilliant telecom engineer who was tortured in an underground custody because they suspected him based on French taxi number...

On March 1, 2013 the engineer Tarek RABAA challenged the head of the court the general Khalil IBRAHIM to face him with a single evidence which proves the accusation. The head of the court replied that the file doesn't include a confession but he said there are evidences and he mentioned the issue of a camera. Then Tarek challenged the court to bring the camera and to show in public if this camera has a secret hiding place as the military intelligence pretended. The head of the court answer was there are witnesses waiting now.

After checking Tarek's file, the camera does not have any secret hiding place but is has a place for a memory card. It is a normal commercial camera available in the Lebanese market and it doesn't work without a memory card. The above photo shows the camera they confiscated from Tarek's house which is a Fujifilm F601Z they pretended it includes a secret hiding place, but it has been revealed that it is a normal camera.

This is the military court in Lebanon which is keeping the engineer Tarek RABAA in jail in spite of his innocence from the charges they fabricated to him and the head of the court the general Khalil Ibrahim is not releasing Tarek in spite of the documented torture and arbitrary detention since July 12, 2010.

Rabih Rabaa, Tarek's brother, has demonstrated in a press conference the same camera they pretended it has a secret hiding place and he explained how it works with the memory card and he has a technical report from an expert in cameras stating that the camera Fujifilm 601Z is a normal digital camera with zoom.

Rabih RABAA asks in a press conference about the "presumption of innocence" in his brother's trial

Via Flickr:
On March 14, 2013 the family of the engineer Tarek RABAA carried out a televised press conference in their house in Beirut, Tarik al Jadidah district, to disclose a scandal concerning Tarek's case. The press conference had been organized subsequent to the repetitive intentional refusal to release Tarek. The Rabaa's family objects the manoeuvres of head of the court general Khalil Ibrahim to keep Tarek in custody because of the political exploitation of his case.

Three local TV stations attended the press conference. They broadcasted a report showing many evidences which annul the whole preliminary investigation written by the military intelligence. The report was broadcasted 4 times on LBC, 3 times on Aljadeed TV and 2 times on Almustaqbal TV.

Rabih RABAA addressed a question to the head of the court Khalil Ibrahim by saying "you said in the court that Tarek's file doesn't include a confession and you said also that you dare to declare Tarek as innocent if he proves that. You don't have any evidence against Tarek and you are still manoeuvring. Tarek is in jail since July 12, 2010 and you are not releasing him in spite of all evidences we submitted to your court. I would like to ask you where is the "presumption of innocence" to consider in Tarek's case?. If you dare as you said to declare Tarek as innocent from collaborating with the Israelian intelligence, then prove your say by releasing Tarek first". Rabih then criticized the paid journalists who propagate rumors which are also affecting the court decision and impede Tarek's release.

Rabih then exposed an official document ratified by the municipality of Paris and issued by the French company Welcome V&V which shows the French number mentioned in the preliminary investigation as the basis to suspect Tarek. This French number is for sure not used by the Mossad but it is a normal cellular number. Then Rabih Rabaa exposed a Fujifilm digital camera which has a place for a memory card the intelligence had pretended that the camera has a hidden place.

From another side, the Engineer Rabih RABAA demanded the head of the court to investigate the arbitrary detention and the documented torture to close Tarek's file.

At the end, Rabih said "we will not quit Tarek's case until liberating him".

The trial of Tarek Rabaa continues with "CHALLENGE"

Via Flickr:
On March 1, 2013 the trial session of the engineer Tarek Rabaa was opened by the general Khalil Ibrahim to hear the witnesses from Alfa company. During this session which lasted for more than 2 hours, Tarek manifested self-confidence, he challenged the court to face him with a single evidence, and he succeeded to extract a confession from the head of the court who announced in public "your file doesn't include a confession from your side".

Tarek started by a short speech about his arbitrary detention and he announced his possession of an official document ratified by the French state proving that the French cellular phone mentioned in the file is used by a taxi company and not by the Mossad. Then Tarek asked the head of the court to open an investigation about this French number and the arbitrary detention, an investigation to be supervised by the president of the Lebanese republic Michel Sleiman. Then a discussion started with the general Khalil Ibrahim about some phone numbers, then Tarek slammed his hand on the table to express his disgust regarding the intelligence error in converting a Taxi number to a number for the Mossad which was the base of the suspicion...the head of the court warned Tarek to not repeat such gesture again in the court.

Afterwards, Tarek asked the court "do you have a confession in the file that i collaborated with the Mossad?". The head of the court said "i read your file in detail, you didn't confess but you are accused". Then Tarek asked "i am accused based on what?". The head of the court said "we have evidences against you". Tarek said "i am challenging you and the court to show me one evidence". The head of the court said "a camera with a secret hiding-place". Tarek said "the camera you have is a normal camera and it has a place for the memory card and not a hiding-place. I challenge you to bring this camera here and i have a report from an expert that this camera doesn't have a hiding-place". Then his lawyer Nada Rabaa argued with the court about the arbitrary detention and the unlawful file, but the head of the court told her nervously to not attack the court....Then, general Khalil Ibrahim told Tarek "if you are innocent i dare to sentence you as innocent", and he called for Tarek's wife Samar Harb.

Samar confirmed that the camera is a normal one and that she has two brothers who call her from Germany and from Australia. The head of the court asked her "do you know that your husband is married with a second wife?". Samar said "sure, and i encourage that". Then Khalil Ibrahim called for Alfa CEO, Marwan Hayek, who confirmed that Lionel Coussi is French, he knew him and Tarek is not responsibie for the cellular data records. Marwan confirmed that he knows Tarek since 1995 and he travelled with him to France and to Prague.
Then was the turn of Farid Baz who said he was the line manager of Tarek, and he travelled with him to Greece and to China. Farid denied that the company installs station for listening, but just stations to serve the cellular network.
After Farid, the head of the court called for Wissam Karam who is the responsible for the OSS system. He explained that this system can track the cellular phones but Tarek Rabaa has no username and password on this system. Wissam said that Charbel Kazzi has access to the OSS.

At the end Tarek demanded to be released because he is innocent and oppressed. The head of the court has postponed the trial to April 12, 2013 to hear for the witnesses Jihad El Murr, Cesar Saleh and Pierre Abi Nader. His lawyer submitted documents proving the torture and the French number to belong to a French transport company located in France.
